Part Deux - Day 15 - Crushing It?


Assessment

A good day for me in general - though I could have gotten a lot more work done. Late last night, I finished level 390 of Candy Crush Soda, which, it turns out, is the final level, at least for now. Scary to think that I've reached the 'end' that game. Then I switched over to Candy Crush Saga (the original), and noticed I was at level 686 on the main game, level 356 on the 'flipside' of the game. A little more investigation revealed I'm on level 106 of Pet Rescue Saga, and have scored 3.2 BILLION points on Bejeweled.

I've tried to delete these games before, but I always go back to them. I play while listening to podcasts, while waiting in the car for kids, and sometimes, yes, just to avoid working. Now I don't think that banning these games is the answer, but I certainly need to find a way to manage them better, and take back the time investment. We all have time sucks, and diversions we use to deal with stress. I also use TV shows, movies and food. You'd think I have some major stress in my life. Well, I do - but so do we all.

Day 15 Review (Thursday June 4th)

Weight 
Day 1 starting weight - 219.8
Day 2 weight - 220.8
Day 3 weight - 221.8 - clearly headed in the WRONG direction
Day 4 weight - 222.2 - let's not even talk about it.
Day 5 weight - 221.4
Day 6 weight - 218.6 - back in the right direction.
Day 7 weight - 218.8
Day 8 weight - 218.2 - weird to be stalled in this way - time to reduce the carbs even more
Day 9 weight - 219.0
Day 10 weight - 221.8 - was totally off yesterday, from a McDonald's breakfast to Pizza and Ben & Jerry's at night.
Day 14 weight - 220.4 - I went as high as 222.8 over the last few days. Been on the diet the last 3 days.
Day 15 weight - 218.8

6/16 GOAL - 200 210 - Switching to something more attainable at this point

Food  
2 King Soopers Chicken Breasts, one hamburger pattie, a small handful of chips

Workout 
Butterfly 10 reps, 80 lbs to 125 lbs by 5, Hip Inductions, 10 on treadmill at 2.8 (high for me), elliptical for 4 minutes (longest ever).
