A pretty strong day. Up at 5:05 for my Morning Miracle. Cross-Fit training at 6 am. Cross-Fit is something I never thought I'd do - something I never thought I COULD do. I'm still taking some baby steps, but today I actually RAN. Not fast, and not well. But I ran. Kettle Bells, Slam Balls, Ropes, Dead Lifts, Bench Press, Rings - all sorts of stuff that have, frankly, moved me off center. All good things. Add in that I'm now being very intentional with playing basketball with my kids, which I haven't done in a couple of years (and my 10 year old son & 12 year old daughter are LOVING it), and physically, I'm really pushing myself up another level.
27 Days 'on Fire' Goals Review:

Day 1 - 211
Start of Day 2 - 213 Went off diet, as outlined above. Steak, two KFC Chicken Breasts, M&M's, Snickers, stuffed potato burrito & some other one dollar spicy burrito from Taco Bell. I know - just horrible, especially after the good start, and the workout.

Days 2-6 - Got up to 218, down to 216.4 today....Day two is outlined above. Day three was chinese, with popcorn and a shake at the movies. Day four was pizza, ice cream & Twizzlers, Day five was bratwurst and chicken, today has been steak and chicken and three chocolate chip cookies.

Goal - Website Revised - Started getting my hands dirty with Avada, the theme for my new website.
Day 7 - 214.2 - Two Bratwurst, Two KFC chicken breasts, and then a major fail with 3 chocolate chip cookies, some popcorn. Which effected pretty bad this morning

Goal - Blog 3x week - the Speak & Deliver blog I wrote Tuesday night has gotten a ton of views - 740 as of right now. Now, I know, hits don't equal readers, but it's still more successful than my average post, so I have to assume the post hit a nerve.
Ancillary activities - Kids to school by 8. Worked a bit on my website. Ordered a few books and a new toy. Investigated Periscope more closely. Played basketball with the kids. Part of the Miracle Morning is reading, and I'm getting through Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom about 20 pages at a time. Hit page 402 today - another couple hundred to go. With the wait for the kids at school, I used the time to go back to listening to audio books, which I haven't done much of since I stopped going to Planet Fitness. Getting through Switch, by Chip & Dan Heath. More running around in the afternoon, too - picking up kids, getting daughter to and from work, picking up ice. Lots of busy work to fill the hours.
Podcasts - I'm going to list what I listen to, both to provide you with some listening material, and to track how much time I'm spending on podcasts.
