Assessment
Day 1 was strong. I felt better, for the most part, after many days with a cold. I got back 'on the horse' by doing my Miracle Morning routine, with slightly less Exercise than normal. I put the time into reading and journaling.
I spoke to the Broomfield Rotary Club, sharing my Win Anyway message. I edited two speeches for clients, one in a contest, another preparing for TEDx. While I didn't stay on the eating plan, I also didn't eat much, and resisted eating in the evening despite multiple opportunities. I didn't work out, either, with all the time commitments I had going.
I went to Solar Speak Toastmasters, my 'home' club, and served as an evaluator, and simply had a blast evaluating an advanced speech from the Technical Speaking Manual. I even managed to win 'Best Evaluator' out of 3 of us, which may seem almost petty for me to care about, but I admit, I still get a small adrenaline rush when I'm recognized for doing a good job at what I love to do.

It would seem logical that successful people perhaps do become 'addicted' to that jolt following an accomplishment. Sadly, most of us are more accustomed to the artificial kick we give ourselves in compensation for not making it.
