Part III Day XIX

Except with Chocolate, not Vanilla.

Assessment

Day 19 - Today was a productive day. I started with a trial run of 'The Miracle Morning' - doing an abbreviated version of the S.A.V.E.R.S. it asks you to spend an hour focusing on each morning - Silence, Affirmations, Visualizations, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing. I'll be writing more about this in my Win Anyway blog today.

Checked off a lot of todo's, got moving on some video work, gained a couple of clients, gave a strong, if overtime, evaluation at my noon Toastmasters club - a productive day.

The one hiccup was the 'eating plan'. Being up a pound in the morning always sets me up, er I always LET it set me up for a letdown. I ended up at Costco and, well, the berry sundae and pizza is always a temptation, and it got me, er, I LET it get me, again. Sigh.

Still, a solid B plus day.

Goals for Part III

Weight
Day Zero starting weight - 225.4
Day Eight - 218.4
Day Nine - 220.2
Day Ten - 221.8
Day Eleven - 222.8
Day Thirteen - 223.0. Seriously.
Day Fourteen - 221.0
Day Fifteen - 220.6
Day Sixteen - 219.2
Day Seventeen - 220.2
Day Eighteen - 218.8
Day Nineteen - 219.8
Today's weight, morning of Day 20 - 220.0

Day 27 Goal weight - 212.0 (half a pound a day. This approach over the next 3 1/2 months will get me to my ultimate goal of 170 by Oct. 10, and is attainable)

Food
Day Eight - Steak & Eggs, 2 KFC Breasts, 2 pudding cups, 3 cookies, a little popcorn.
Day Nine - ate out at a buffet, and had sherbet at home. Didn't overdo, though I am up a couple of pounds.
Days Ten & Eleven - not a lot of food, but all bad stuff - popcorn, candy, cookies, ice cream - the usual suspects. And a great bacon cheeseburger yesterday
Days Twelve & Thirteen - not terrible, actually - mostly on the diet. Some donuts yesterday, that was bad. Today, some spiced, diced chicken, brisket....and two cookies. So close to being perfect.
Day Fourteen - spiced, diced chicken, brisket, 2 KFC chicken breasts
Day Fifteen - spiced, diced chicken, 2 King Soopers chicken breasts, popcorn
Day Sixteen - was so good all day, until I went to the theatre. steak, a few chips for lunch, then gave in and had a shake & popcorn.
Day Seventeen - 2 KFC Chicken Breasts, a chocolate chip cookie, a little popcorn
Day Eighteen - spiced, diced chicken, 2 KFC chicken breasts, a small handful of chocolate chips.
Day Nineteen - fell off the wagon. 2 Bratwurst, then the trip to Costco killed me - berry sundae, 1 1/2 slices combo pizza. At home, had two peanut butter chocolate wafer things, a few more chocolate chips, and chips and salsa. Could have been worse.

Workout
Going to stick to light workouts until I get into the 190's, mostly cardio.

Day Eight - 30 min. workout.
Day Nine - 30 min. workout
Day Ten - None
Day Eleven - None
Day Twelve and Thirteen - None
Day Fourteen - 30 min, workout - and now that I'm using Swarm, I'm officially the mayor for Planet Fitness - for whatever it's worth :)
Day Fifteen - 30 min. workout
Day Sixteen - None
Day Seventeen - 30 min workout
Day Eighteen - 30 min workout
Day Nineteen - 30 min workout

Day 27 Workouts Goal - 14 Actual - 10

Work Actions
Day Eight - Professional Presenters Officer meeting
Day Nine - Put the proposals together for two potential clients.
Day Ten, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen - enough to keep me going, not enough to satisfy my needs. I did get some emails put together for clients, coaching and speaking.
Day Fourteen - communication with clients, speech at Solar Speak Toastmasters, applied for TEDx Mile Hi
Day Fifteen - Speak & Deliver Blog, coaching, moving forward with Professional Presenters, rescheduling radio appearances for July
Day Sixteen - None
Day Seventeen - Listened to half a Udemy course on publishing children's books
Day Eighteen - Hmm. A few communications, a little coaching, but not as much, in retrospect, as it felt like.
Day Nineteen - took on two new clients for speech coaching. Did some coaching by email and phone. Went to my Tues noon TM club. Finished the Udemy course on writing children's books. Shot raw video for promos for my two District Conferences in the fall. Confirmed radio interview dates. A strong work day.

GOALS:

These goals are some of the same ones I've had for awhile, and are reasonable, if I actually, y'know, work.

- 14 blog posts in Speak & Deliver/Win Anyway (these don't count) 2

Dad Actions
Day Eight - kids reading, riding, cleaning - went out with daughter Riley, brought food home for Braden. Still feels like just not enough interaction, however.
Day Nine - took family out to Country Buffet - just to get some time together. Payed Riker 2 bucks to eat chicken livers, which ended up making him sick. Sigh.
Days Ten & Eleven - Time with all of the kids in various ways
Days Twelve & Thirteen - continued great daddiness - period.
Day Fourteen - Lots of conversation, but didn't really DO much.
Day Fifteen - driving, encouragement, watching MasterChef as a family
Day Sixteen - all day with family - a great day.
Day Seventeen - church with two of the kids, lunch with Kris and youngest daughter Brooklyn, took Riley to Starbucks.
Day Eighteen - dropped/picked up Bailey, took Riley to 7-11, bought Riker a book at Barnes & Noble that he's earned by finishing his last book.
Day Nineteen - nothing spectacular - just typical dad day around the house.
